Margin.
side-noted portfolio with sticky annotations.
a wide margin holds your notes, dates, credits. inspired by old printed monographs. reads better than it should.
notes from the workshop.
old printed monographs put the credits in the margin. i copied that. a project page has its title at the top and a wide right rail underneath. dates, client, credits, awards, all sit in that rail, anchored to the section they belong to.
reading flows down the main column. the margin scrolls with you. on narrow screens the margin collapses to a sticky sidebar that opens on demand. there is no carousel anywhere.
i used margin myself for a year before shipping it. it makes the work feel finished even when the work is in progress. that is the highest praise i have for any layout.
licenses, plain.
every license size Margin ships with. pick the seat that fits the use. you can move up later, you cannot move down.
